Reducer introduction:

Reducer in the prime mover and working machine or actuator between the matching speed and torque transmission, reducer is a relatively sophisticated machinery, the purpose is to reduce speed, increase torque.

According to the transmission series, it can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage reducer; according to the gear wheel shape of the gear mill, it can be divided into cylindrical gear reducer, bevel gear reducer and cone cylinder gear reducer;According to the layout of transmission, it can be divided into expansion type, split flow type and the same shaft type reducer.The reducer is a kind of independent parts enclosed by a rigid shell gear, worm gear, gear - worm gear reducer, commonly used as a prime mover and work machine.The matching speed and torque transmission between the prime mover and the working machine or the actuator are widely used in modern machinery.

WP Worm Gear reducer

Gear box are used to transfer rotation and torque from motor to working machine.Most gear boxes are used to decrease speed by gears in the gear box .

Worm gear box is much widely used in mordern machinery systems,since it’s ratio can be up to 1:100 easily ,which is much bigger than all gears box , and it’s demision is much smaller than all gears when ratio is same.

Design characteristics:

1:Use low-carbon cast iron cementation processing completely.

2:The gear and the gear shft precision is high.

3:The volume small,but the torque is big.

Maintence:

After 300-hour operation, please change the oil, and flush the gear uint with suitable detergents.

Pls do not mix the mineral oil and synthetic oil.

pls check the oil level in regular time.

Installation and description

Installation notes

1.The base-plate must be plane and stoutness and the base-plate must be tightened and shock proof.

2.The shaft extension of the prime mover gear reducer must be accurately aligned with each other after installation

3.The diameter tolerance zone of input and output shaft is H6, the holes of fit things(such as couplings, belt-pully, sprocket wheel and so on) must properly mate shaft, which prevents bearing from breakage because of over-loose mate.

4.Drivers such as sprocket wheel and gear must be fitted close to bearing in order to reduce bending stress of hanging shaft.

5.While assembling motor of WPD reducer, it is necessary that proper amount of butter applies to the warm shaft input hole and key way, avoiding assembling too tightly ans rusting after using for a long time.

6.When ordering or using all kinds of WPO type, if the motor weight is bigger than the common, supporting set is required.

Notice of use

1.Before use, should pay attention to check whether the following matters are in line with the use requirements:Deceleration type structure, Center distance, ratio, input shaft connection mode, output shaft structure, input shaft output shaft direction and rotation direction

2.According to the requirements specified in the sample, inject the right brand of lubricant.After refueling, screw top ventilator, unplug the ventilator on the cone plug, speed reducer to begin operation.Must choose the right lubricant, control the fuel quantity and must according to the requirements of timely oil change, the first use 100 hours later replace the new oil.

3.When an abnormal situation occurs during use, it should be checked in time and be referred to the "causes of failure and solutions". (the maximum oil temperature of the reducer is allowed to reach 95 degrees Celsius)
